2025 - 2026 Amboy CUSD # 272 Staff Member of the Year Announcement

The committee would like to thank all community members, staff, parents, and especially the students who submitted nominations for Teacher or Staff Member of the Year.  202 applications were submitted, nominating 56 individual teachers and staff members. As we read through the essays, we were truly impressed by how much these educators have impacted the lives of our school community. With so many amazing nominations, choosing just two recipients was difficult. After a great deal of deliberation, we are happy to announce that this year’s Staff Member of the Year is Kirstyn Carter, who has been with us for 4 years at Amboy High School. Please help us honor this wonderful Amboy educator.
